Yearbook Cover 2010-2011



I drew the illustration for the yearbook cover at the request of the yearbook editor. She didn't exactly let me know what the illustration was for. "Just draw a student with the Minutemen Mascot and make it look sketchy."

Fancy Nancy




You learn a lot by copying somebody else's art--about the cannon they've created for their characters. I do it from time to time. Here's a sketch of Fancy Nancy.

The Scribble Monster



I'm interested in the marks that little tiny people make--you know, like toddlers. These scribbles were produced by a toddler. Then I added a little something, transforming the work into a "monster"--which is what this toddler and I draw all the time anyway. I'd like to publish a book of illustrations that have started out as kid scribbles. I'll let you know when that happens.
